During the World Health Organization – Inter-parliamentary High-level Conference in Accra, Ghana, I stressed the importance of a strong legislative framework to bolster Universal Health Coverage, elevate health security and readiness, and guarantee thorough oversight of healthcare fund allocation. I also called on health system administrators to regularly report on advancements and plans. This conference serves as a unique platform for evaluating potential health system hurdles and establishing an effective preparedness legislative framework.
