Today, I lead the second day of the 2025 Health Budget defense as Chairman of the 10th Senate Committee on Health (Secondary & Tertiary). This session brings together the Clinical Medical Directors (CMDs) of Nigeria’s Teaching Hospitals, Federal Medical Centres, and Specialty Hospitals.
We are focused in ensuring that the 2025 Health Budget addresses the pressing challenges which includes, inadequate infrastructure, shortage of medical personnel, and limited access to quality healthcare services in other to achieve a robust Universal Health Coverage for all Nigerians.
